THE STORY BEHIND KayleeRaeMedia

As an artist I hate restricting myself to one art medium or one way of creating. And if you didn't know, the plural of "medium" is "media". I believe that true artists will always be trying something new and experimenting with their work. At least that is the kind of artist I want to be. Apologies if that doesn't give you a clear idea of what kind of art I create, but hopefully it opens your mind to the many possibilities that I hold open for myself...

 

If you know me personally, you know that owning my own business and working for myself has been the dream for a while. Earning my BA in Graphic Design and Social Media Marketing in 2021 in the midst of COVID, I struggled to find my artistic groove. At that point, I was just trying to make money to survive and navigate my long-distance relationship.

 

In the middle of 2022 I found a full-time position that allowed me to finally utilize the skills I gained in college. During this time, I invested in my mental health and went to therapy sessions. Throughout this healing, I still felt the urge to do so much more with my life and with my art. I continued to learn about and explore myself and the world around me.

Since getting engaged in the summer of 2023, my fiancé and I have had serious conversations about our life and business aspirations and for me, KayleeRaeMedia is and has been my biggest goal. I took a leap of faith at the end of 2024 and have been fully dedicating my time to my business and to my well-being, which go hand in hand.

 

KayleeRaeMedia compiles my diverse talents and skills and allows me to share them all with you! I want to find community and share art that empowers others to be uniquely and unapologetically themselves, while sharing my own journey and self development.
